Introduction: Recent budget events in Washington, DC, were painful to many onlookers. Why?

I. The Christian message is a message of peace.
A. The Messiah/Christ is the embodiment of
peace.

B.  What is Biblical peace?

II. This peace can be seen.
A. “wall of hostility” broken down

B. “commandments expressed in ordinances”
abolished

III. Both groups are replaced by one man.
