When the Lord fights for His people He guarantees their victory

96 ( 70 | 26 )

When the Lord fights for His people He guarantees their victory:

  1. The Lord fights for Israel
  2. The Lord gives victory to Joshua
  3. in the process the Canaanite kings are destroyed
    Point 1:
  4. How are Judges 9, 10 and 11 connected? What is the picture?
  5. Why did God bring all these heathen nations together? What is God’s plan? So … when the world is
uniting itself against the church (in 2013 AD) what is God really doing?
    Point 2:
  6. In verse 12 Joshua told the sun and moon to stand still ‘in the presence of all Israel’: why do we need
    to know that?
  7. What difference does it make to us if we know that the sun and moon really stood still?
    Point 3:
  8. In verse 27 the Canaanite kings were buried in a cave and large rocks were used to close the cave.
How does this relate to the gospel?
