When the Lord fights for His people He guarantees their victory
96 ( 70 | 26 )
When the Lord fights for His people He guarantees their victory:
- The Lord fights for Israel
- The Lord gives victory to Joshua
- in the process the Canaanite kings are destroyed
Point 1: - How are Judges 9, 10 and 11 connected? What is the picture?
- Why did God bring all these heathen nations together? What is God’s plan? So … when the world is
uniting itself against the church (in 2013 AD) what is God really doing?
Point 2: - In verse 12 Joshua told the sun and moon to stand still ‘in the presence of all Israel’: why do we need
to know that? - What difference does it make to us if we know that the sun and moon really stood still?
Point 3: - In verse 27 the Canaanite kings were buried in a cave and large rocks were used to close the cave.
How does this relate to the gospel?
