The Power of God & The Power of the Devil

The fact that the Power of God was at work through the ministry of the Apostle Paul is undeniable. Even so, some listened and believed, but some did not. Today it is the same, some listen and are saved, but most are hardened in their unbelief.

Extraordinary miracles were seen, numerous signs and wonders were wrought through Paul by the Power of God, these were done to set forth the Glory of God, commending the gospel message and the messenger. To us such miraculous powers are not given, these were limited to the apostles.

The Devil also exercised considerable power, and we read of examples of people being possessed by demons and evil spirits. Yes, the Devil's power was great, but Christ's Power is greater, and we can be assured that no true Christian can be possessed by a demon.

We would urge all to embrace Christ, as His Power is more than a match for the Devil.
