Love is the Fulfillment of the Law

In expounding the things that the gospel teaches us, Paul shows us that we owe a perpetual debt of love to all our fellow men. But how do we pay that debt? Answer: By walking in evangelical obedience to the Ten Commandments. While New Testament believers are free from the law as a covenant of works, we are obligated to walk in obedience to its precepts out of hearts filled with love for God and man, for love is the fulfillment of the law.
