Help! I'm being sifted

Any time we go through a heart ache or trouble we feel like no one is around to hear us. No one to rely on that we feel like we stand all alone. Satan wants to see what we are made of. He wants to sift us, to separate us. Do we just blow in the wind, going whichever way the crowd goes or do we go the way of the wheat? He is looking for individuals and groups but the groups are to split them up. Satan is a relentless foe who we need help with. Help that comes in the form of prayer. Prayer we need because he wants to use our sin to hurt the heart of God. Satan is relentless in his pursuit, that is why the Bible tells us so often to RUN the race. And while satan may be relentless we have a reliable friend, He has higher authority than all. He prays for us, He runs right beside us and when the need comes He carries us. Jesus is a personal friend, and He is a planning friend when He ain't working for you it is because you are working for self. He has provisions for those being sifted: confession, repentance, and forgiveness.
