    Let them be accursed (anathema).
Anathema is used in the Septuagint for anything which has been devoted to God for destruction.

It is used in the New Testament to mean utter destruction without any hope of redemption.

    3. The gospel v. 16
Our faith has Christ as its object.

Our faith is not a mere assent to the truth – it is a wholehearted belief in the one who himself is the center of truth.

Beware of the error of turning faith itself into a work.
