The Hidden Kingdom

This week, the readings emphasise the present action of the kingdom of heaven, especially in relation to its ‘hiddenness' from the eyes of sight. This hiddenness is both in terms of its mode and its value. In view of this hidden action, we are encouraged to walk by faith in the King, who himself is the acting subject, and who himself is the goal to be prized.
