John 01 - Understanding the Logos B

John develops his thesis from the very beginning in the form of a hymn. Refuting charges of polytheism John uses the Old Testament concept of Wisdom (Pr 8-9) to develop the truth that Christ is the Logos: Fullness of God preexisting with God in eternity before Creation. This guides his writing of his Gospel showing how Christ is indeed in the Father as the Lamb of God for the sacrifice for our sin.
