Rivers of Living Water

The brothers of Jesus did not believe. Familiarity breeds contempt. Sometimes when we are around something all the time we have the tendency to take it for granted. Jesus proposed a threat to the Jewish leaders. The more the Jewish leaders knew, the more resistant they were to what Jesus said. Jesus said if anyone really wants to know the truth, God will make it known to them. Until God gives us new hearts, our hearts are against God and do not want to seek Him. If we want to do the will of God, we will find the will of God, and we will know if the teachings of Jesus are true. Anyone who thinks they are God has a real issue, unless it is Jesus who makes the claim, as Jesus and God the Father are one. God gives eyes to see and ears to hear and anyone who wants to know will know. God is in control and when it was not the time of Jesus, no one could touch Him, even when they wanted to kill Him. Christ said that out of His believers will come rivers of living water flowing from within. We should have the Spirit of Life flowing out of us if we are in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the Messiah who offers us life in Him. The difference between life and death is knowing, trusting, and obeying Jesus. Jesus is Messiah, but a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
