The Son's Inheritance

Jesus is the superior and chief Prophet. There is no need for further revelation from God because the Son is the highest and all-sufficient revelation from God. In the verses that follow (2b-4), the author supports His assertion by first showing the uniqueness of the Son and His relation to the universe. The Son is God’s Final Word because, as verse 2 says, “God appointed Him heir of all things and through Him God made the world.” Today, we’re going to consider two points: God’s Appointed Heir and God’s Agent in Creation.
