There is a serious lack of understanding in today’s time about what the Christian Life is all about and specifically as we will look at today what the biblical model for prayer is. If you look at how the
Apostle Paul prays in Ephesians we realize that his prayer is consumed with passion for what God is
doing in the spiritual walk of the people God has saved and the churches Paul is working with

We need to learn to Pray Biblically about Things

What does it mean to bow the knee?

What I want you to get here is that Paul is consumed with what God is doing in the lives of other people.

How did Paul pray?
~ We know it was with submission to God and it was passionate but what does Paul ask for? This is our focus for today

1. We should Petition God for Endowments v.16

2. We should Petition the Lord to be Endued with Power v.16

3. We should Petition the Lord for Enthronement v.17

4. We should Petition the Lord for Establishment v.17b

Endowment of Riches.
Endued with Strength,
Enthroning Christ as Lord.
Being Established in Love,
