I. David [From Philistines to Fugitive] —Innocence does not always protect you from danger.

II. David [From Midnight escape to Man of God]—Relationships may crumble under the most intense of pressure.

A. We cannot force others to do what is right.
B. We cannot stand in the way of impending judgment of God upon others.
C. God may choose to use us to guide, warn, comfort, protect others, but ultimately we cannot rely upon ourselves to truly help someone in need.

III. David [From Prophets School to Proven Friend]— Godly counsel can provoke Divine protection.
