Double Mindedness

Double mindedness is trying to reconcile two unreconcilable things. The Christian is to be an opportunist. We are to seize every opportunity to live for the glory of God. This is hard to do in the best of situations. It is impossible when we are double minded. You can't live for things bound by time and for that which is meant for eternity. You can't live for self and for God. You can't combine your righteousness and the righteousness of God.
