Description: The theme of our first evening of preparation for the Lord's Table is one of HUMILIATION. We consider our need to humble ourselves before the Lord. The word humiliation comes from the Latin word for ground, and so takes us to ground level, but the Latin word for depths gives us the word profound, which takes us to a deeper level of humiliation. And deep humiliation before God is the right posture of the heart in prayer:
