The Miracles of Amos the Prophet

Amos was a herdsman and a farmer whom God called to preach in the days of Hosea and Isaiah. He lived in Tekoa of Judah but was called to preach to the northern kingdom of Israel. He was uneducated and humble, led by the Spirit of God, and had a burden to declare God's word to his hearers. Amos predicted the destruction of the nation and the scattering of the people. He condemned the false religion that proliferated in the land.
