Our Story
Hosea is a story about love and grace but it is not without heartbreak. It is ugly and beautiful all at one. The love and grace is magnificently displayed by God through the character of the prophet himself. The heartbreak comes from the sin of God’s fickle people Israel as portrayed in Hosea’s adulterous wife. This is our story. It is the story of undeserving sinners receiving the relentless love of God. This is the true church’s story. It is the story of the Lord Jesus Christ’s dying and undying love for his beloved church. As we delve into this prophetic narrative may our appreciating for the deep, deep love of Jesus take us to new heights of reciprocated love and passion for our glorious bridegroom Jesus.
