Born Unto the Lord

Why do we pay such close attention to the education our children receive? Why, when Christian schooling is so expensive and homeschooling so time-consuming, do we nonetheless commit our children to Christian education? The answer is simple: Our children are not our own; they belong to God. It is His purpose that we return them unto Him for His praise and glory. With attention to the vows we made in baptism and our responsibilities as covenant parents, we must remember our responsibility in educating God’s children.
