Help for the Believer

There are times in our reading of the Bible when our soul longs to have been apart of what we read. For example in 2 Kings 6 Elisha prays for the eyes of his servant to be opened that his servant might see the host of angels surrounding and protecting them. Imagine being there and beholding God's power?

Or think of Moses in Exodus 13 where God manifested Himself to the Israelites in the cloud and fire. You would only need to look up and see your redemption. Or perhaps the most incredible time would have been when Christ walked the earth. Imagine being able to talk face-to-face with the Lord of creation and watch the miracles being performed and participating in His power.
