The Fulness of Christ

The last division of chapter one is from verse fifteen to verse twenty-three. After Paul listed five petitions, which are a model in every generation, he made a great statement regarding the supremacy of Christ. That is our text. The power of God which delivers His elect is the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in heaven. Christ is authority over all things, especially to the church. We bow to Him and His sovereignty.
