[10/17/2021 PM] - "The Fourth Commandment #1: Sunday & Creation" Exodus 20.8-11
Series Heidelberg Catechism
In the evening we will begin a four-part sermon series on Lord day 38 of the catechism, explaining the fourth commandment. Is there evidence in the Bible that lines up with the historic Reformed position of an all-day Christian sabbath each Sunday? Should we devote the whole day Sunday to worship twice, Christian fellowship, and works of mercy? This series will answer those questions. The first sermon this Sunday night looks at Exodus 20.8-11, focusing on "Creation and Sunday." The sabbath is a command that predates Israel by thousands of years. How should our lives be impacted by this truth? Come back Sunday night (as is right to do according to God's Word) and find out.
