Understanding Law and Grace (part 3) (Following Jesus Christ Rightly #6c)

We need to spend one more Sunday, today, addressing the biblical understanding of law and grace. This is necessary for there is much errant teaching regarding God’s law among many evangelicals. Today we address what historically Protestants have called, “The Third Use of the Law.” Now as we have said before, we are presently not speaking about matters that are essential to believe in order to have salvation from sin that God gives us through Jesus Christ. Rather, we are addressing how Christians may follow Jesus in a right manner so as to please our Lord and in order that we might receive from Him the greatest measure of blessing possible for Christians.
