How Long O LORD? Light for Dark Times

Perhaps, you are going through a difficult time today. Pain is a universal problem. Paul writes in Romans 8:22, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” There are many in our church who suffer with physical pain due to surgeries, diseases, or the natural aging process. Let me remind you that even though you take your vitamins, exercise, and eat healthy, we are not immune to physical pain. Today, you may be experiencing pain in the inner man. Your life circumstances such as your relationship with God or problems in your marriage, family, finances, job, health, church, etc. may be closing in. C.S. Lewis wrote one time that pain is God’s megaphone. It definitely gets our attention and sends us searching for answers. Whatever your situation is today, let’s turn to God’s Word to find comfort, healing, and grace to help in time of need.
