13 The Battle for Our Minds I

4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice (KJV).

The recurring theme interwoven throughout this book is “joy in the Lord” regardless of our circumstances. We must always be mindful that our time her is short and soon we will be with our Lord Jesus and be able to rejoice with Him face-to-face! Remember Paul was in a terrible prison waiting for a probable execution when he wrote these things. Our lives can’t be this bad. We must always be joyful and give thanks to the Lord for all He has done for us. We have the blessed assurance that no matter what happens here we will be with Jesus!
