The Endurance of Faith

The faith that pleases God rests on the promises of God and endures in loyalty to Christ, even when the circumstances are unfavorable and harsh. This faith looks forward to Christ's return and is sustained by this hope - no matter how intense the trial. The "roll call of faith" displays examples of this kind of forward looking faith that these OT saints had. If they could endure, so can we.
