A People without Hypocrisy

Purity of the heart is an essential to being blessed of God. Yet, every Christian must admit to our innate propensity for sin. If the absolute purity of the heart is an essential to God's blessing on our lives and ministry for Him, then we must conclude that His blessings can never be realized. What we will discover as we look to Scriptural examples is not that of sinless perfection, but that the pursuit after a pure heart is what God blesses. Like verse six, it is the hungering and thirsting after righteousness that God blesses even though we will never fully achieve righteousness.
