Too many of the Thessalonians were mistakenly thinking of an imminent return of Christ, and not tending to their callings. Instead, they kept busy interfering in others' lives! Instead of being busy, they were busy-bodies. What was the "cure"? To get busy doing their work as Christ had called them, doing their work to His glory.
