Chosen by the Father 1

The doctrine of election and predestination is perhaps the most controversial in the whole of Christendom and it needn't be. People are reluctant to give up their perceived freedom to chose Christ. But, we must be careful not to make God in our image. We dare not design Him to suit our reason; our emotion; or our sense of fairness. The believer has been called by His Name into the intimate fellowship of His own family to bring Him glory according to His divine prerogative.
