Crucifying the Flesh

WE are exhorted in the Bible to crucify the flesh. Crucifixion is a lingering death. Indeed the Apostle Paul states in Galatians 5:24 that those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh, with the affections and the lusts thereof. Christ died for our sins and we are to endeavour, by the grace of God, to die unto sin. This we can only do by walking in the SpiritIt is a lifetime battle.
