1. The story of Achan is a story about Christ, the story of the salvation of sinners.

2. Every sinner has an accursed thing in their hands and how shall one like that escape from God's judgment?

3. God's way of salvation is very particular and the testimony of Achan bears it out with His appointed mediator and surety..

4. Imputation and representation-God's way from eternity and if your gospel conditions salvation on the sinner-it is by default a false gospel.
