Unreal and Real Repentance

Jeremiah calls to repentance those who were a part of King Josiah's religious reformation. Apparently their repentance was unreal. An unreal repentance comes with out shame. It is a sentimental patronizing to God's tender call. It comes with out an intent to stop sin. True repentance cast off all pride and want one thing: God to be God.
