Spiriual Lethargy

At times, when waiting on the Lord or laboring diligently, we tend to be lethargic, dragging our feet and questioning "Why?" when we ought to be zealous. The passage considered in Song of Solomon shows this attitude of sluggishness in the relationship of a man and woman in love. Pastor Haak shows the parallel and applies it to the experience of Christians in that they also experience a sense of abandonment, though not utterly. Listen and be renewed in your heart, for the Word of God is powerful to rekindle within us zeal.
