You Must Persevere

Four exhortations make up verse 5: But watch thou in all things; endure afflictions; do the work of an evangelist; make full proof of thy ministry. These charges are here directed first to Timothy, secondly to every Gospel preacher, by thirdly to all that will live godly in Christ Jesus. The believer is to persevere in all of these things, in spite of the state of society and of the church:

1. You Must Persevere In Being Watchful
2. You Must Persevere By Withstanding
3. You Must Persevere In Working The Gospel
4. You Must Persevere In Serving The Gospel
