The Set of Your Heart

The life of King Abijah, David's great grandson, is one that bounced between faithfulness and unfaithfulness to the Lord. In summary of his life the Chronicler wrote, "And he did evil, for he sis not set his heart to seek the Lord." We often try to blame others, including the devil, for our sin. But this is the real reason we sin--not setting our hearts to seek the Lord.
