The Bread of Life

Jesus spoke difficult words knowing that some would leave Him. However Jesus did all that the Father commanded Him. No one can come to Jesus unless the Holy Spirit draws that person. God takes away the heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh. Jesus spoke things that expose the heart of man. If you had the choice to be forgiven of sin and still be allowed to sin or to be forgiven of sin not to sin anymore, which would you choose? Our hearts and affections should be on Christ. We should look for Jesus because He is the Son of God, not to get a free lunch or anything else. Are you looking for a reason to believe, or a reason to doubt. We should not be more focused on what God gives than on Him. How will you respond to Jesus? Jesus is not just a good thing to make our lives better. Jesus is and brings life. Our desire should be to know and love Him. Are you sure that you need a Savior? Do you know that you need Jesus? God supernaturally changes our hearts by His grace. We must draw our strength and our lives from Jesus. Let us trust, love, and depend on Jesus. Jesus is the One we need.
