Galatians spends a large portion of the book defining exactly what the Gospel
is and what Do you Do with the Gospel. 1 Tim 4:1-2 tells us that the Demons cover The

True Gospel with false Gospels which look like truth.

Today's churches try to entertain and keep the goats in the church while the
lambs stand by and watch
• We see the Emergent church bringing in centering prayers, occult thinking
and the religion of Oprah
• Psychology, self image and personal wants have become the focus of church.
When we don't take Soteriology, the doctrine of Salvation, seriously this is what
happens.

Gospel distortion reaps a bad harvest.

• We must Remain Faithful to the Gospel
• How can we remain faithful to the Gospel?
• How can we keep from Gospel Distortion?

1.We must Remember there is only One Gospel v. 6

i. When we preach allowing false representations of the Gospel we
open the door to a deserting of the Gospel
ii. As we consider the astonishment that Paul had we should also
be reminded How Fragile New Believers can be.

2.We must Remember to Protect Against False Gospels v. 6-7

3.We must Remember to Witness Faithfully v.8-9

Conclusion

Verse 10 sums up for us how to remain faithful to the Gospel

• Remember it is all about God
• Seek to please God not man
• We need to make sure our motives and thoughts regarding the Gospel are
always Christ centered.
• Don't be driven by guilt, what the enemy, your flesh or some person tells you
• Remain faithful to the one and true Gospel. That Christ died for those who trust Him alone for Salvation and that Christ alone provides the Believer's Righteousness forever.
