The Gift of Confusion

Blessings friends… I want to throw you a good word… the power and principles that come with the blessings of a command of God. And, as with all of God's blessings and promises, they come with boundaries and conditions. These are not to limit but to help us recognize where the unhindered flow of God's blessings will be manifested and multiplied. I'll jump back on hear later and give a little on these foundational truths.

"Be fruitful and multiply..." Genesis 1:28

"So God blessed Noah and his sons, and God said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth." Genesis 9:1

"Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed: for in the image of God He made mankind. And as for you, Be fruitful and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth and multiply in it." Genesis 9:6-7

"These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated/dispersed to cover the earth." Genesis 9:19

When did God scatter mankind all over the face of the earth?

When He frustrated man's plans.

God had already commanded them to fill the earth… man had a "better plan" and "greater ideas" than God and encouraged each other to be united so they could make a name for themselves. (Genesis 11)

God will favor our cause when our cause is His (Psalm 35:27). Paul encouraged the brethren at Corinth to be of one voice, one vision and one verdict (1 Corinthians 1:10).

"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10
