Dad's wise message

The basic framework of the Book of Proverbs is a godly father’s counsel to his son. Taking that as the perspective of this text, we note four element’s to Dad’s wise message:

A godly father’s warning: “Do not let your heart envy sinners.”

A godly father’s exhortation: “But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day.”

A godly father’s declaration: “For surely there is a hereafter.”

A godly father’s promise: “And your hope will not be cut off.”
