A Definition of Preaching - Part Three

The third part of my definition of preaching gives the ultimate purposes for preaching. We preach the truth of God "for the purpose of converting sinners, sanctifying saints, and preparing people for heaven." Preachers ought to intentionally aim for conversions, purposely seek the sanctification of the saints, and consciously prepare the Bride of Christ for the wedding feast of the Lamb.
