Super Government Saves the Day

372

Governments all over the world are flying in to save the day - buying banks, loans, real estate, you name it. Call them assets. Call them the means of production. Call them what you will.

Now they're talking about guaranteeing all bank deposits. But how can governments guarantee all bank deposits if all the banks were to go under? Easy. Debauch the currency a little more, and you would have to bring a wheelbarrow to collect your money. Of course, you will get every dime of what you deposited. . . Except the dime is now worth what a penny was six months ago.

Kevin Swanson interviews Doug Tjaden, author of 'Traditions of Men,' on the current crisis and the inevitable loss of freedom (and prosperity) that attends crises like these.
