In Remembrance of Me
Series The Lord's Supper
158
The Lord Jesus celebrated the Passover in the upper room with his disciples. There He took elements of the Passover and gave them greater significance. The fruit of the vine was to remind them of His shed blood. The bread represented His broken body. Unleavened bread pictured the life of purity. We, as believers, must purge out the leaven of sin in our lives. Only with the ministry of the master can this be done.
