Infant Salvation - 01 - General Introduction

The eternal state of infants who die is a subject which stretches our theology to the utmost. The Bible seems to have little to say concerning this subject. Our questions are so numerous and the answers seem to be so few. What is the eternal destiny of these precious ones? Do they go to heaven or hell? Is there some intermediate state? Do they need a Savior? Are they born with a sinful nature? If so, are they savable? If so, then how can it possible if they cannot consent to the gospel message? If they are savable, are they all saved? Do only baptized infants who die go to heaven? Do only infants with believing parents go to heaven? This series addresses these questions and more while seeking to stay within the framework contained in the Biblical record.
