These are some tips that can help you:

1. Remember that Jesus is and has a better way for us. Our life has been purchased by His blood and is no longer ours to live for ourself.
2. Recognize and acknowledge it's a weakness.
3. Denounce the right to choose things that steals the attention and affection that Jesus deserves.
4. We're not alone nor the only one dealing with the temptation.
5. Be intentional to avoid it... for Jesus sake.
6. Avoid people that feed your flesh and fuel your folly. (Example: Ammon and His friend (Jonadab)
7. Jesus provides a way of escape that we can endure the temptation His way. Look to Him.
