Turning Against a Good Mentor

Joash, a king who had a very good upbringing, mentored by Jehoiada the priest in the way of the Lord, yet who turned from the way of the Lord as soon as Jehoiada was dead. He never developed a mind of his own so that when a different counsel to that of Jehoiada's came along he went with it. He forsook God and died a man forsaken by God.
