The Generous Landowner

In Matthew 20 Jesus gives a parable of generous grace in which abundant, unmerited grace is a scandal to those who think in terms of merit and reward. Throughout Scripture we see God's delight in generous grace. In John 1 we have a picture of God's unwearied generous grace. The experience of God's generous grace teaches us what we should expect from God and what we should extend to others.
