New Testament Patterns of Worship

When we look at the worship patterns of the New Testament Church we discover that they significantly reflect those of a Jewish synagogue. There are no blood sacrifices because the synagogue developed during the time Israel had no Temple. The synagogue was a place for the reading and explanation of Scripture, encouragement, prayer and praise.
