Shining as Lights in the World

In Philippians 2:14-15, Paul admonishes the saints to fulfill God's purpose for His people where Israel failed. By grumbling and disputing, Israel failed to be a light to the nations that God's salvation my reach the ends of the earth . Rather than being a light in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, they became that crooked and twisted generation (Deut 32:5; Isa 49:6).
