Terrifying Voyage on the Sea

When Paul was transferred to Rome as a prisoner, things didn't go as planned. The ship was caught in a terrible storm and they were lost at sea for two weeks. Luke gives us an incredible firsthand account of the story because he was there! Luke was also lost at sea. Luke was also shipwrecked. Luke also had to swim to the island of Malta. However, there is something even more important than the historicity of his account: it's the theology of the account. Luke demonstrates how God revealed Himself to the people on the ship, as they became conscious of God and encountered Him.
