True Worship

We continue to look at Jesus talking with the Samaritan Woman. In John 3 we got the see Jesus explain the theology of Salvation. It comes from the Spirit of God and is motivated by the Love of God. Here with the Samaritan Women, we see it from the human side, the practical application of evangelism. First we saw Christ's love. 20+ miles out of the way and breaking cultural barriers of sex and politics, Christ offers her the free gift of living water. After thinking about it, she asks for this gift and Christ starts to deal with her. He first Challenges her with her sin. The woman recognizes Him as a prophet and changes the subject to one about “her” religion. This should impact every one of us. No one likes to look at sin and each of us has a belief system, even if it is to claim that there is no God. Join us as we look at Christ as He shares with the Samaritan Woman.
