Shining as Lights

Something we often forget is the fact that the STARS still SHINE during the day. They're just more visible at night when it gets dark.

So, I want to encourage you to be patient and keep shining. There WILL come a time when things get dark for some of the people around you, that you really care for and have been sharing your hope with. Up to this point they have not given you or your testimony much thought because they have all the "light" they think they need.

You have been an "unnoticed star" in there "artificial light" but life has a way of ushering in troubles and problems for all of us. And, as when the sun goes down, these burdens will attempt to cover their lives like a heavy blanket of darkness. And prayerfully, when it covers them, they'll look up, seeking someone to help them navigate through the "night season," and they will see you sparkling in the dark.

And, when God is at work, drawing them to Himself, then they have a way of remembering...that you've been shinning the whole time, they just couldn't see it until now. Praise to the glory of His grace.

Therefore, as Paul encouraged the church at Philippi, I want to edify you, "Do all things without murmuring (complaining) and disputing, that you may be blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crocked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world."

Blessings friends, may you have a splendid and radiant day — keep on SHINING, today may be the day that someone notices it (Daniel 12:3).
