Confronting Talkative

Talkative is confronted by Faithful. We should picture 'Talkative' -- sitting among the dissenting congregation, hearing the Word of God preached and having it applied to his conscience. Also, the regular interaction of the faithful church members convicts Talkative. However, Talkative has no heart-work of the Holy Spirit, and instead of repenting of his sins -- he gets angry and leaves their company.

Too many churches today (and in Bunyan's day) refuse to confront Talkative. Instead, he is often hailed as a leader because of his apparent knowledge and ability to convince others of his knowledge.
